Welcome Aboard!

eTrans is Escalon’s own bus system and available to the general public. The door-to-door dial-a-ride service operates within the City of Escalon and provides connection to Riverbank. Route 35 operates between the Downtown Escalon Park and Ride Lot and northwest Modesto serving Kaiser Permanente, Vintage Faire Mall and destinations on Kiernan Avenue, Dale Road, McHenry Avenue and Standiford Avenue.

  • eTrans on the go! Uber Subsidy Program will subsidize up to $10.00 per ride for a $2.00 upfront fare.  You can travel anywhere in Escalon, to Riverbank, Oakdale or Modesto, seven days a week between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.  Anything beyond $10.00 is the responsibility of the user.     Get the voucher here!  Download the Uber app at the App Store or Google Play.  A credit card, Visa/Mastercard/AMEX or Uber gift card is required to use this service. 
  • Do you have an unmet transit need?  Visit SJCOG for more details. 
  • Need to get to outside of Escalon to Manteca or Stockton? Ride RTD Van Go!  or Route 95.  eTrans does not serve Escalon Senior Estate since it is outside the Escalon city limits.
  • Miocar is coming to Escalon.  You will be able to rent a car from Escalon Park and Ride Lot to run errands around town. Visit www.miocar.org for details on how to sign up.

eTrans is Umo enabled. EZHub - Easiest Way To Plan, Pay and Ride in San Joaquin County
EZ Hub
EZHub is a cashless mobile ticketing and fare payment system available in the Vamos Mobility App, making it “EZ” to purchase public transit tickets in your mobile device. Once downloaded, transit riders can use the app to plan their journeys and purchase tickets for TRACER, GrapeLine, RTD, ACE, Blossom Express, eTrans, and Manteca Transit. The free app is available from both the App Store and Google Play or visit Vamos Mobility.

Reasonable Modification Policy: The Department of Transportation has revised its rules under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (section 504) specifically to provide that transportation entities are required to make reasonable modifications/accommodations to policies, practices, and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure that their programs are accessible to individuals with disabilities. The City of Escalon will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities. Exceptions would include modifications that:

  • Cause a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
  • Result in a fundamental alteration of the service.
  • Are not actually necessary in order for the individual with a disability to access the entity’s service.
  • Result in undue financial and administration burden.

General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS): With the use of this site, the City of Escalon (City), hereby grants you (Licensee) non-exclusive, limited and revocable rights to use, reproduce, and redistribute the City’s Data (Data) subject to the following Terms:

  • The City and eTrans logos and copyrighted materials, including any confusingly similar variants, may not be used in association with Data without permission.
  • Data is provided on an ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ basis. The City makes no representations or warranties of any kind, expressed or implied. The City disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The City and its employees, officers, directors and agents will not be liable for damages of any kind arising from the use of Data including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive and consequential damages.
  • The City reserves the right to alter and/or no longer provide Data at any time without prior notice.
  • The City maintains title, ownership, rights and interest in and to Data.
  • The laws of the State of California shall govern all rights and obligations under this Agreement, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.
  • This Agreement constitutes the complete and exclusive agreement between the City and Licensee with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior oral or written understandings, communications, or agreements not specifically incorporated herein. The City reserves the right to modify or revoke this agreement at any time. Downloading the Data commits licensee to the terms and conditions herein.
  • eTrans can make our GTFS-RT feeds available to data consumers upon request. Please contact [email protected] to request an API key.
